PHYSICS

                                                                              (Part 1)

“Physics is really nothing more than a search for ultimate simplicity…” (Bill Bryson)
Physics is the science about the world around us. About nature as a whole, its laws and rules, which nature itself obeys strictly. These rules and laws of course may be violated by a man, but anyway he’d have to pay a high price for this.
It is the science of structures and motion, of the forces affecting everything that exists.
We have all heard the names of Albert Einstein, Niels Bor, Archimedes, Nikola Tesla, Hermann Helmholtz, Mikhail Lomonosov...
But who are these people? Why are they so attracted to physics? How their lives changed ours?
Physics opens us many mysteries of nature, explains the phenomenon which we meet in our everyday life, and those that are hidden from our eyes, but have an impact on the processes occurring on the Earth and in space.
The world of physical phenomena is diverse. To understand nature, to learn from it and to take into consideration the laws which nature follows - that is the challenge and education for  human beings. These laws help us to understand the causation in everyday life.
At the seminar we will discuss:
• What is physics and why is it called the "fundamental science"
• The systematic vision of physics in the volume of secondary school.
• Manifestation of Physics in other sciences (subjects).
• Physics in nature and nature in physics: special phenomena,

which we used to treat as a "miracle of nature".
• Basic concepts and terms of physics.
Substance and Field, their features, differences, properties
• The basic laws of physics and their manifestation in everyday life (can we use these laws and benefit from it after graduation?)
• Physics and human relationships
Forces in physics. What are they and what is their impact.
Motion in physics (how right understanding of the motion influences your personality)
Interaction… Does it really matter? And how can it help?
• Physics in everyday life
• Physics and the human body
We’ll become the researchers. We will conduct experiments and describe them.
We’ll consider the familiar phenomena and reveal their secrets, paint, draw graphs and calculate.
Physics gives understanding, reveals the secrets and makes it possible to penetrate the wonders of nature and make them your knowledge.
